Gettysburg
A small town made famous
141 years ago war came through here
But now war comes only once a year
Huge reenactments portray
What happened on those days
Thousands of visitors come each year
Flocking in masses to this place
Monuments memorialize those that fought and died
They know when you come Come
to study, not harm
Respect the sacred land
Remember them at Gettysburg
Go to the cemetery and walk along the rows
The named, famous and those that are unknown
This is Gettysburg, This is history
It is here that I am finally at home
